We take care to photograph and describe our products accurately, but slight variations may occur.

Honey is a natural, seasonal product, so its colour, clarity and texture can vary between hives and harvests. Wooden products may also vary slightly in colour, grain and finish, while merchandise colours can appear different depending on your screen.

The product type, size and quantity will match the details shown on the product page.

Crystallisation is completely natural and does not mean the honey has gone off or is faulty. Some harvests crystallise more quickly than others depending on the nectar collected by the bees. To return it to a runnier consistency, place the closed jar in warm water and allow it to soften gently. Avoid boiling water or overheating the honey.

A light layer of foam or tiny air bubbles can sometimes appear after honey has been extracted, strained and jarred. This is natural and harmless and does not affect the quality or flavour of the honey.

Keep your honey tightly closed at room temperature in a cool, dry place. There is no need to refrigerate it, as this can encourage it to crystallise more quickly.

Our honey is seasonal and produced in small batches, so some products may only be available at certain times of the year. Where possible, products will be restocked following the next harvest. You can sign up for News from the Hives to hear about new batches and product releases.
